The San Rafael Urias plantation is located in a volcanic valley between the Agua and Fuego volcanoes in Guatemala. Founded at the end of the 19th century by Don Rafael Valdes, this family-run estate is now run by the fourth generation.Known for its exceptional coffee quality, the plantation has received several prestigious awards. The estate's coffee goes through a complex selection process in which only the dark red cherries are picked, sorted, fermented and left to ripen on the terraces in the sun.
